Letter from our Head Teacher & Founder, Nadia

"I offer an authentic Montessori Casa Program for children 3 1/2 - 6 years, alongside an academic Elementary Montessori Program for ages 6 to 12, at my brand new school at Yonge & Davis in Newmarket, Ontario.

Montessori education provides the child with the foundation they need for success later on in life. The key focus of Montessori education is fostering and encouraging the independence, responsibility and confidence of each child.

Our classrooms are filled with materials to engage children in learning to be self-sufficient, respectful, responsible, and to explore & learn. The child-sized environment allows for children to explore and try various and sometimes challenging activities in a safe and appropriate environment. Children also learn how to engage with one another, to share and to learn together. In this environment, children choose their own work from a selection of presented and demonstrated activities. This allows children to make choices, and to practice & perfect their work.

As the Head Teacher, it is my responsibility to ensure that children continually participate in developmentally-appropriate activities that serve and encourage their growth.
