Mathematics
Children will begin with exploring and internalizing number 1-10, after which they will continue to the decimal system, tens and teens, the memorization of tables (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division), fractions, long division and word problems. Children will first be introduced to these concepts in a sensorial manner, which will later be combined with abstract concepts. This results in a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.

Practical Life
Children will learn to accomplish various activities to take care of themselves and their environment. Examples include; sewing, painting, food preparation, ironing, pouring and practicing various fastenings for dressing (tying bows, zippers etc.). These activities prepare children to care for themselves, their environment, and to think through the steps required to carry out tasks.
Sensorial
Children are provided with various materials to explore their five senses and to receive a sensorial introduction to geometry and mathematics. Children will also explore living things such as plants and animals. Children will be introduced to music through the Montessori bells, which isolate the pitch of each note. The bells are used to help children develop an ear for music and to learn musical notes. Children that are particularly interested continue to write and read music using the bells.

Grace & Courtesy
Children will be given opportunities to practice problem solving and conflict resolution with their peers through play and dramatization. Children will practice with various responses to understand how their words and actions impact others, which will provide them with an opportunity to make kind and empathetic choices in the future.

Geography &
Culture
Children will work with the painted globe to learn continents and oceans and the puzzle maps to learn the counties in each continent. Reading children will practice labeling continents, oceans and countries. Children will also learn the flags and culture associated with each location.

Movement
Children will work on their control and coordination through various activities that target both gross and fine movement. Mastery over motor control leads to improved self regulation in all aspects of daily activities.
